Don’t wash away dollars

Be kind to your dishes and save water and electricity, by routinely using the “china and crystal” setting on your dishwasher if you have one. If you have dirty pots and pans, wash them separately by hand instead of running them in load. And always wait your dishwasher is full before running it.
Keep water from forming a puddle on the rubber mat under your dish drainer. Before doing dishes, place a rolled-up newspaper under the mat at the end away from the sink. You will create an incline, and water will drain into the sink.
